When uploading files via a file manager, please make sure that the highest permission is CHMODed to 755. If you decide to give your file permissions of 777 the file will not work or show correctly with HostLeopard.
Many programs you may try to install will ask you to CHMOD a file to 777. We have found that they will always work with 755 and be much more secure.
Once again 755 is much more secure and will work with your installation (whether they say so or not), and 777 will not display correctly.
